We have taken the advice of a tree surgeon, Mr Tony Woods of Finchfield Trees, prior to this application. We have 2 trees that require cutting back, both of which are located in the back garden of our property. 1 - Blue Cedar - This is within 6 metres of the house and is now dominating the garden. We would like to trim the crown of the tree and reduce this by 15-20%. 2 - Conifer - This is within 3 metres of the house and is approximately 18 metres tall. We would like to reduce the height by 5-7 metres.

The Conifer Boundary surrounding our Back garden has become very overgrown and is now blocking sunlight from neighbours property. Some of these have reached heights in excess of 8 meters and need to be removed/reduced and for new conifers to fill in the gaps where removed.

Sycamore to be cut back from building to give 3m clearance. Hawthorne to be cut back from the building to give at least 1m clearance.

1) Several small beech tree behind shed to reduce/return to hedge height. 2) One Small Beech tree being part of an arch way to remove R H side & second adjacent tree to reduce height by half.

Fell 1 Aple Tree

06/00648/TPO (A2) - Land Between properties and Dusntall Lane / Festival Way and Dunstall Lane Allotments - Crown lift all trees to 3-4 metres. Reason; To facilitate clean up of the area.

Mature Fagus sylvatica with co dominant stems and included bark at tight V union near children's play area and residential buildings. Fell. Leave a short monolith.

Height reduction of 48 Ilex aquifolium (approx. 50% of total woodland Ilex) to approx. 1m in woodland area to increase light levels for additional tree and shrub planting (Hazel, Sweet Chestnut, Small Leaved Lime, Field Maple) and wildflower/bulb planting (Primrose, Snowdrop, Bluebells). 10 in "green" zone; 4 in "yellow" zone; 21 in "pink" zone; 13 in "blue" zone. Majority of hollies are immature and at max stem diameter at 1m height of 150mm. Work will also include reduction of large multi stemmed Prunus laurocerasus.

Various tree works as identified in associated tree report, with the exception to the works proposed to trees 48, 49, 50, 53, 55, 64, 70, 78, 94, 130, 135, 139, 140, 167, 173, 175, 203 and 230 - as the works proposed to these trees require consider under the relevant TPO, and as such have been considered under a separate application ref: 23/00239/TR
