Minor Material Amendment application to remove, and / or vary conditions attached to planning permission reference 19/00931/FUL which was to create the City Learning Quarter including erection of new teaching accommodation; extensions, alterations and internal configurations to the Central Library (listed building) and Metro One (College) and Adult Education Building (listed building), Foyer building, Alan Garner Building, St George's House, and associated access infrastructure, parking and landscaping.

Existing offices above showroom to be changed into residential accommodation for a 1 bedroom 2 person apartment

Four structural elements are proposed to be demolished. These comprise of the two storey flat roof office addition constructed directly adjacent to the South East side of Beckminster House set around a paved courtyard with two link corridors to the original house. The second building comprises of a single story pitched roof Training Room building attached to the North West gable of Beckminster House, whilst the fourth and fifth structures comprise of individual single storey Stores located to the rear of the House. Whilst there will remain a further detached Training Room building within the rear grounds to the House it is intended that this shall form temporary accommodation for the chosen contractor during the course of the build works on site.
