Reducing the height and spread of the tree by up to 1.5 metre. Lift the tree to 2 metres over the lawn. The reason for the works is to maintain the tree at an appropriate size due to it close proximity to the house x 1 Holly (T1), reduce branches growing toward the BT cable by 1 metre to provide 0.5 metre clearance from the cable x 1 Purple Leaved Plum (T2), reducing the height and spread of the tree by up to 1.5 metre. Lift the tree to 3 metres over the ground. The reason for the works is to maintain the tree at an appropriate size for its setting and allow more light to the garden below x 1 Silver Birch (T3) and reduce branches growing toward the BT cable by 1 metre to provide 0.5 metre clearance from the cable x 1 Elder (T4)

Overall crown reduction By 2.0-2.5m due to excessive shading to front house x 1 Beech (T1)

Remove young branches within 1000mm of house roof to stop growing into tiles and gutters x 1 Magnolia tree (A), remove as growing through staircase to allow staircase to be rebuilt x 1 Ewe tree (B)

Crown lift of approx 6 metres as currently blocking a lot of natural light to both our home and neighbouring property x 1 Horse Chestnut and Lime Trees

Prune back all overhang on alley side of canopy back to boundary line and reduce height of remaining canopy by approximately 2m to contain and improve shape x 1 Hazel (1), reduce new growth by approximately 2m back to previous pruning points, selectively remove branches encroaching out towards house and prune back all overhang on alley side back to boundary x 1 Hazel (2), lightly prune to contain and improve shape x 1 Holly (3), reduce height by up to 2m and trim sides to contain and improve shape x row of Beech (4), reduce height by approximately 2.5m and trim all round to contain and improve shape x 1 Bay (5), selectively reduce /remove stems encroaching over garden and into bay x 1 Hazel (6), reduce height to leave final height at approximately 5m, trim all round to contain into more cylindrical shape and remove leggy growth to allow for bushier regeneration x 1 Holly (8) and remove dead stem growing over fence x 1 Amelanchier (8)

Remove to ground level as dead x 2 trees (T1 & T2), remove low limb that extends over glass house and tip reduce mid crown laterals above glasshouse by 1 metre in order to allow light to glasshouse for growing plants and reduce risk of damage x 1 Robinia (T3), remove tree as unsafe due to severe basal decay x 1 Silver Birch (T4), and reduce limb extended over garden building by 2.5 meters and prune elsewhere to ensure 1.5 metre clearance over roof x 1 Beech (T5)

Reduce by up to 5m of regrowth only, back to suitable growth points ensuring that historic pruning points and knuckles are retained x 1 Ash (T1), Reduce crown by approximately 8 metres in height of the taller stems to stabilise compromised structural integrity of hollowing main stem, reduction of remaining smaller stems by 2.5 metres to maintain a balanced crown formation whilst retaining as much photosynthetic producing material to aid with wound wood response x 1 Ash (T2), Reduce height and lateral spread by approx of 2-3 metres in height & 2-3 metres of lateral spread effectively making a communal crown profile to lessen dynamic loading from new wind forces x 1 Ash (T3) and prune back from house side and neighbouring house back to points of previous pruning approx 2 metres, raise low branches over road and garden to contain tree x 1 Oak (T5).

Reduce by 2 - 3 metres, thin by 15 - 20% and crown lift by 1 - 2 metres to create more sunlight and branches overhanging house x 1 Oak

Crown thin by 10% to achieve a more uniform lighter crown density and minor tip reduction on lower growth extended towards house roof of around 1 metre to improve crown balance, work is designed to create a more even crown density x 1 Copper Beech (T1)
