Discharge of conditions 2 (materials schedule), 3 (brick sample), 4 (window details) and 8 (landscaping scheme) of application DC074176 Pointing will be confined to the joint and slightly recessed from the face of the brick to match existing. Mortar colour to match existing - black Double storey extension to be finished with slate roof to match existing. All new windows in development will be timber and match existing style and will be double hung sashes. Sills will be stone to match existing sills on the property. Heads will be timber and match existing windows. Details of the windows to the timber replacement side conservatory and extensions are attached to this application. These will be timber double hung sashes to match existing with mouldings and timber sections matching the existing traditional original windows in the property. The windows will be positioned to match the existing windows in the external reveal. They will be set back to copy the original design as per front elevation of the property's existing windows. There will be no mounted trickle vents fitted to any new or retained windows. With regard to condition 8, there are no planned removal of trees surrounding the new developments. The existing trees will be fenced off and protected. We have previously liaised with James Appleton and he was aware of our planting of 17 new trees to the Laurel End side of the property in 2017. We have added at least 40 new shrubs to the front elevation of the property. There are no further plans to add or remove in respect of the landscaping surrounding our development.
