Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) of planning permission 20/1838/MFUL (Demolition of existing buildings and the residential development of 33 new homes in a mix of 10 no. dwellings and 19 apartments and the conversion and refurbishment of Eldin House to create 4 apartments, partial demolition of potting shed and greenhouse and extensions to create dwelling, together with vehicle and pedestrian accesses, landscaping and associated infrastructure) to allow design changes to the approved apartment block which include changes to balconies, window position and alignments and the addition of a lift overrun to the roof and the approved dwellings which include internal layout changes, the addition of porches, changes to window positions and design.

Lower ground single storey extension and associated refurbishment and alterations including new crossover for driveway. 'Variation of Conditions 1, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f, 3g, 4, 5 and 6 of permission 18/00251/HHOLD 1. Change - Change in construction and waterproofing method necessitated slight change in layout. Rooflight changes create lower visual impact, including house no longer obscured by rooflights from east elevation, and allow easier access around the site through the use of walk on glass. Introduction of structural planters to provide screening and privacy to the patio from the road, while integrating a hidden railing and softening the overall visual impact of the extension. 3c. Removal - Landscape design submitted showing replacement planting following excavation leading to loss of trees and shrubs. Replacement planting and design proposed, 3d. Removed - Railings have been safely removed and preserved, and will be placed in new location around the drive, as per plans. 3e. Change - Stairwell walls to be matching white render at and below the level of the white plinth of the existing house that surrounds the ground floor.
