Details of Condition 4. Tree protection as required by planning permission 22/AP/2987 dated 25/11/2022 for construction of a single storey rear extension with integrated canopy. Demolition of the existing shed and construction of a new shed building and bike store to the side. Facade alterations to replace the existing windows and cladding. Renovation of the existing porch/garage to include a new roof, cladding and glazing. Installation of two rooflights to the rear roof slope. Boundary alterations to continue the existing hit and miss brick wall. Excavation works to create a lower patio level linking the new shed building to the main house and minor landscaping works to reform the front and rear gardens.

1. Re-Pollard one mature Lime to previous old pollard points approximately level with owner of trees apex of house roof to reduce possibility of limb/stem failure in the future. Shorten back side branches primarily over neighbours side to approximately 2 metres from the main trunk. Lift low canopy of to give approximately 3 metres clearance over clients sheds in rear garden of 3 Clarence Road, pruning to suitable live secondary growth.

At least 2 trees overhang into garden from neighbours garden who resides at Seeley Court. One of the trees has had several of the large branches fallen into garden and onto the roof of shed, becoming extremely unsafe in the garden. One of trees is also causing considerably darkness in the back of the house, more so when the tree is full of leaves. Proposed works to have all overhanging branches cut back and the safety of the tree assessed as its heavily leaning onto my wall. I am unaware of the tree species.

T4. Sycamore (on right hand side of garden, on boundary, picket fence has been erected with a gap to accommodate buttress roots) Much of crown overhanging adjacent property. Crown lift to clear sheds giving 4m ground clearance, remove major dead wood and inspect union at 3m. T9. Ash (close to rear left hand corner of garden, 5.5m from rear boundary wall. Large primary limb growing to South, overhanging roof of adjacent house. Crown reduce from 3-6m and remove dead wood

T1 - Small leaning Beech east of house to be Felled to Ground Level Stump. T2 - Large Beech south of house to be reduced by approx 2-4m from 20m tall and 8m wide to leave at 18m tall and 6m wide approx. T3 and 4 - Reduce both Beech's looming branches by 2-3m. T8 - Remove declining Ash tree. T10 - Reduce structurally unsound Beech tree (cavity's on east side), weight reduction of 10% - 20% on the affected side, reduce over extended laterals towards bordering property leaving at 4m from stem, to appropriate growth points. T13 - Remove the large dead Chestnut stem on the boundary of The Croft and other major deadwood in proximity. T11 - Crown raise large Oak over driveway of 'Villa D'or' by pollarding the lowest limb to first unions, prune back remaining foliage removing leverage, prune back 1-2m off of the 9m limbs over driveway leaving limbs at 7-8m overhang over driveway. T12 - Reduce Oak canopy over driveway by up to 15% removing 1-1.5m from selected ends to growth points to achieve thinning result. T13 - Beech with dying canopy to be felled. T14 - Chestnut leaning heavily over shed roof to be reduced to secondary leading upright.

4 large Conifer trees labelled 1-4 on the sketch plan. The plan is to remove them down to ground level . They are blocking significant amounts of light and are disrupting the driveway of Andway Cottage, two nearby fences and the shed of 3 Paynes Meadow. They appear to be the only conifer trees on 3 Paynes Meadow and Andway Cottage properties; other trees nearby on Pyotts Hill all appear to be deciduous so they seem out of place in comparison. See conifer tree photos document. 1 Hazel tree (tree 5) & 4 Beech trees - labelled 6-9 on the sketch plan. The plan is to remove them down to ground level. They are very close to the house, less than a meter, and are blocking significant amounts of light and overhanging the roof of Andway Cottage contributing to moss growth on the roof and blocked gutters. See Hazel and beech tree photos document. The work will be carried out by HGS Sherfield on Loddon.

(T1) Cotoneaster - Poor form, remove to ground level (T2) Prunus - reduce laterals over garden heading towards the house by 3.5 meters to reduce the risk of end loading and reduce stems heading towards left hand boundary by 3 meters to match epicormics, forming a new top crown. (T3) Apple - reduce in height by 2 meters to suitable laterals and formative prune remaining weeping crown by a maximum of 1 meter to improve form. (T4) Yew - remove branch leaning on shed roof (T5) Plumb - poor form self set, remove to ground level (T6) Goat Willow - reduce back from property by 1.5 meters, to avoid damage to building.

TPO application to trim small branches/foliage at bottom of one Thuja to 2m to allow head room; Trim small branches/foliage at bottom of one Thuja to 2m to allow head room, trim south side of tree to 1m away from house, trim small branches/foliage at bottom of tree to allow 30 cm clearance above shed roof.

1. 2 x Leyland Cypress (T1 and T2) - Fell The trees are part of the boundary hedge between our house (No. 3) and our neighbours at No. 4. It is very close to both houses (actually overhanging our house) and very large. They are simply oppressive to both properties. The larger tree is already crushing our shed and making it unusable and, with age, branches have started to fall in high winds onto our roof.

T1, Ash : lift branches above shed and garage to give 2m clearance; reduce lowest limb and branch above to give 2m clearance above garage; reduce lowest two branches above patio to give clearance; trim back marked growth on picture 3 to give clearance from roof of house; remove base epicormic (no cuts to exceed 100mm diameter) T2, Oak : remove epicormic growth from stem; crown lift lower limbs to a height of 5m from garden of 29 Brand Road; crown lift to 8m from 21 Gronan Close to balance the canopy (21 is lower, so therefore 8m to balance the lower canopy)
